2020 HOPE OPEN HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL OCTOBER 9-11, 2020
In an act of prudence and in conjunction with Living Alternatives’ director Bev Kline, along with Charlie Heaton, Chris Singer and Jennifer Bailey we have decided to postpone the 2020 Heaton Hope Open until October 9-11. This has been a very hard call to make because we didn’t want to just cancel this fun and important fundraising event! As much as we hate that we are facing these circumstances, we want to look out for the best interest of everyone in our community, especially those with compromised immune systems and those who care for them.
We hope you will be available to join us then! Stay healthy and we are praying for everyone as this COVID-19 is affecting all of us in one way or another.
Entry Fee Options
Please take a moment to review the entry fee options and reach out if you have any questions or difficulties processing your refund. We are already looking forward to October 9-11, but we feel this is the best decision given the current circumstances.
1) Transfer Entry Fee; Email the tournament director (firstname.lastname@example.org) and request that your entry fee be transferred to the rescheduled tournament date of October 9-11
2) Donate Entry Fee; We understand the new date of the tournament may not work for everyone, so if you cannot play in October and would like to still financially support Living Alternatives, you may decline a refund and the full amount of your entry fee will be donated to Living Alternatives.
3) Refund Entry Fee; Participants can withdraw from the tournament online. This is processed through the USTA website, the same location in which players registered. The process only takes a couple of minutes, but this must be completed by Wednesday, March 18th before the registration deadline passes. A full refund (less the processing fee) will be applied to the card used for registration. If you do not withdraw online before the deadline, players will need to contact the tournament director and request a reimbursement check. Click the MORE INFO link at the end of this message to process your withdraw. more infoChris Singer, USPTA
